I'm pretty sure PDA net still works after froyo. I haven't tried PDA net since getting Froyo, but I get a PDA net popup each time I connect my N1 to my laptop via USB.

I've got an Incredible running 2.1 and especially love the ability to tether a stock (non-rooted Incredible) via USB with PDA NET and see no increase in my monthly bill.
Does anyone know if free tethering with PDA-NET will continue to work after someone upgrades to 2.2????
I'd hate to lose that feature. I know that 2.2 on big red offers wireless "tethering" but it won't be free. AFAIK they will charge $20/mouth for this wireless access with a surcharge if you go over their set limit.....this $20 dollar charge and has nothing to do with your data plan as it is a separate fee.
I'd hate to upgrade and find that I now have to pay for what I'm getting for nothing......anybody know what the scoop is???
Thanks -- Flash

I installed PDANet on my Evo after getting the Froyo update, and haven't had any problems using it.
Thanks --- I just realized my wife has a Droid 2 that came wth 2.2 -- I'll see how that works with PDANet -- Flash
PS: FWIW -- I'm not that impressed with the D2 when I compare it to my Incredible -- the ergonomics just don't seem right
Just a quick note -- rcvd the OTA 2.2 upgrade and PDANet continues to work.
