830p compatible with I-smartphone 2008?

Hi, Im new here. I have a softbank/panasonic 830p and I bought a I-smartphone hyper sim from eBay. I tired to get it to work with my AT&T 3G sim but the phone says insert usim. Is it compatible with the I-smartphone 2008 or do I need to buy the I-smartphone 2009? If so, where can I buy it for cheap? Thanks in advance!

After fiddling around with it, the I-smartphone 2008 hypersim worked! Let it be known that the 830p is compatible with the orange universal I-smartphone sim which is like $8 on ebay with an anti-fake serial number check so you know you are getting the real thing!

I have one which I would like to use in the UK. Did you use I-smartphone 2008 and nothing else?
