Got it (3G only version, HW 1.1) from newegg for $90.
After installed the latest firmware (yes, a few days ago one), it works right away with Rocket original stick even without any further settings.
So far I tested the following:
Nexus one: no (USB tethering enabled)
Behold II: no (PC studio and USB debug mode enabled)
N900: no
Rocket original: yes
Option 452: yes
HTC Mogul (possibly other WM phones): yes (with internet sharing enabled)

I am thinking of getting a Nokia E73. Does it work with a Cradlepoint router? Does it even tether?

On S60 phones, check connect settings->packet data (which is used for tethering) and enter correct APN.
I don't try it until I get C7.

It does, but you have to add a new data ID on the phone and use the corresponding ID on the router setup.
Example: if your setup data ID is 5, your router has to dial the following in modem setting:
*99***5#

Thanks. Do you know which Cradlepoint can act as wireless router if I don't use the USB (phone)? It like 3G and Wireless router.

I got Cradlepoint CTR500 and I have trouble connecting Sony Ericsson T717 on to the router.
