Question Cricket's ZIO M6000 - No custom ringtones for contacts ending in "0"

So I've had the new Zio M6000 for about two weeks now. The first one I had kept locking up the screen when powered on, it would just go to a gray screen with the backlight on, and you'd have to remove the battery to reset.

I've since been issued a replacement handset, and everything seems great, with one exception:

Any contacts who's phone number ends in "0" (Zero) cannot have a custom ringtone. You can set a custom ringtone, but it will still use the default one.

Any other contact, that is any contact ending in an integer other then 0, works just fine with custom ringtones.

This happened on the first handset I had too.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Strange.

    ending in "0"

This is strange! I'm having the same problem but I would have never made the connection to "0" if I had not read your post! I really appreciate it. I can atleast get around the problem now. Have you found any complete fix for the problem?

Unfortunately, I have never received a fix for this problem. I think my cricket rep thought I was nuts. I doubt they will fix it until enough of us complain about it, but it's a problem that many people probably don't even know they have!

If you ever find a fix, let us know, I'll do the same.
