When I phoned to upgrade I was told flat out I didn't qualify cause I didn't pay enough per month. Corporate voice and data must equal $55 before add-ons and tax, residential accounts must equal $45. So after being a Rogers customer for 8+ years, I threatened to cancel all my services and was immediately put thru to Retentions. So here is what I got for one of my two lines:

    iPhone 4 32gb for $269. + $15. admin fee

    My PLAN:
200 Daytime minutes, unlimited evenings after 6pm and unlimited weekends
    unlimited incoming calls
    VM, CID, CW
    2500 Text Messaging
    6 gb data plan

for $50.08 + tax per month.

It's pretty decent. It has everything I need and use. I have seen others with better, but seeing I got new customer or upgrade eligible pricing I was happy with what I was offered. Only $7 more than I had been paying for Corp. Voice plus UMB.
Current: iPhone 6 128gb // Previous Phones: Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Unlocked LG G2, Samsung Galaxy S3, Apple iPhone 4, Samsung Corby Pro, Nokia 5800XM, LG Xenon, HTC S710, Motorola V3t, Motorola V300...etc[/FONT]

This is my plan I got last month.
$45 1500/Unlimited Eve/Wkds Plan (carry over retention plan from 2-3 years ago)
    $30 6GB data plan
    $8 Call Display
    $2 Name Display
    $7 Voicemail
    ($15) Monthly Plan credit
    ($10) Data plan credit
    ($8) call display credit
    ($5) Name Display credit
    ($7) Voicemail credit
    ($6.95) SAF credit
    + .75 (911) = $47.75 before tax

Includes 100 send text & unlimited incoming (Good enough for me, only send like 20 text per month)
Also 100 LD minutes (Good enough for me, make only a few LD calls once in a while)

This plan fits my requirements as I usually do around 1100 to 1200 minutes per month. It's nice because it's basically unlimited, never worried about going over my minutes.

Now if only I can find an iPhone 4 somewhere.....

I know mines pretty good for having an iphone, his is a little iffy (which they said because its a new line they couldnt give him the things I have) But I still think they did a good job.

I called yesterday because im having an IP4 shipped to me from a local store and I am hooking my boyfriend up with my 3G and he needs super long distance (hes on telus pay and talk and uses like $200 a month)
She ended up extending all my discounts for three years, adding the 1000 min LD for me for $5 (which previously was $6 for 35 min ) And she said she normally cant do anything with the newly added one year contract but she said I was very nice and proved good points so she gave him the 1000 min LD for $10.

Most probably pre existing credits were carried forward. When I was there with my friend they told him that no discounts can be added to any of the unlimited plans.. which is BS ... cuz... later that day he called back to add a feature and saw they gave him free feature via montly plan credit

No, it's not bs, because when they say that they 'can't' they are not saying 'I am physically incapable of giving you this credit', they are saying 'due to the restrictions of my job, I am unable to give you this credit'.

Sorry, pet peeve about this whole unlimited plans + credits situation, people keep acting as though the agents are lying when obviously they aren't, they're just being honest because according to policy, no, they cannot give credits. The reps who are giving out credits are probably in danger of being disciplined.

There is a Data Flex Plan which is offered by Retentions and it is $10/100mb, and caps at 1GB.
Now I'm just wondering if u were offered 100mb/$10 by itself or was it the Flex Plan that u were offered.
What u cud do is just add APN3CON, after getting the plan, then u can use it with the Blackberry.

I'm gonna call bs/lying, we have all seen/experienced the various offers on these unlimited plans. If it was a 'due to the restrictions of my job, I am unable to give you this credit' issue; it would be built into the system & we would all get the same reply in regards to credits etc. When there are varying stories from rep to rep it adds up to lies are being told.

Since I know people who work at Rogers, why don't you take my word for it. There are always going to be reps who go against policy when faced with a customer who pushes, it's a fact of life.

Seriously, there are a lot of things that representatives at cellphone companies can do physically without being allowed to by policy. Billing systems are not magical and full of light and incapable of doing anything that the company doesn't want done. If you've never worked in a situation where a customer wants you to do something and you *could* do it but your job says that you can't, then you are lucky.
