@simho lucky. The manager I spoke with at retentions wouldn't even budge. But apparently I'm supposed to expect a call on monday from Office of the Prez. I'll believe it when I see (er hear) it.
Man gets hit by Brick Phone! Ouch!

    My Newest Negotiated Plan:
$50 North American Long Distance (Unlimited North American Incoming & Outgoing Voice & Text while based in Canada)
    $30 6 Gig Data
$0 (Credit) for Enhanced Voicemail, CID, etc.
$2.58 BS Govt. Fee, NO 911 Fee, NO SAF
15% Rogers Bundle Discount (Cable, Internet, Other Mobile Phones)
= Approx: $79.31 INCLUSIVE of Taxes

F.Y.I. - Had to work a bit for the credit; cited the current Mobilicity Unlimited Plan that was being offered for $65.00. I was upfront and stated to the CSR that it was not my intention to leave nor did I threaten that (my first mobile phone was a Cantel cinder block Motorola); but I did mention that I could be "happier" (just like the rest of us). The CSR even went of of her way to call me back later in the day to confirm that my credit and final price for my package was approved and gave me a confiirmation/reference number. This new plan meets my criteria of travelling within Canada (Mobilicity zones aren't as convenient for me). My cable and internet package is insanely priced as well. Bottom line: Satisfied.....Cheers and Good Luck Everyone.

Wow! $50 for CAN/US unlimited calling AND text? How liberal are they about giving this out? I have the $17.50 RET plan right now.

The giving isn't the issue; its the credits that are the crap shoot!

Very true, but he seemed so impressed with the base price, it seemed all he was asking for.

No, I agree. I thought about that as soon as I posted my question. It's just that I had heard of an identical $70 plan and in comparison, this one looked really good. You're right, though -- it's still horribly expensive (Skype offers the same thing for $2.99 plus the per-text rate for texts) but it's still a bit less Roger-like than some of the previous offerings in terms of being a bit better value.

Here is my plan. I called asking for the $50 plan and a ret. agent talked me out of it, saying I don't need it.
    $30 150DT my 5 local
    $5 1000 LD CDA
    $10 Ret Val Pack
    $30 6 Gb
$1 Todays Parent Magazine (Highly Recommended)
    -$20 Monthly Plan Credit 15+5
    -$10 Data Credit
    250 Bonus Min
    Unlimited Incoming Calls
    6PM Eve/Wk UNL
    $46 + 2.58 plus tax

Does anybody see another possible credit? Is it possible to get a MPC equal to your Plan cost?
    Thanks, Rye

I called today about my plan and asked about an unlimited plan and they said the $50 plan is unlimited voice and text to Canadian numbers only, no US. So I'm confused if it's really CDN/US or just CDN like she said.

They also added the value pack and 6gig promo, and then told me they have the iPhone 4 in stock and would ship one to my home address if I wanted one. I said sure! Anyone want to buy an iPhone?

What sort of case do you make for these feature credits? I spoke to a really nice lady who nevertheless told me that neither voicemail nor caller ID can be credited. She told me that I could get a data credit (since I asked) but that the maximum data credit they can offer would be $5. I was looking for the identical plan you got.

That's my understanding, but she was clear that it was CDN voice only, no US calling. I'll have to wait to confirm it I guess.
