    They HAVE gone 2 or more years without a HUP.. but they did renew the contract earlier this year just to get a good retention plan (but didn't take a HUP). If the person checks online now.. they are eligible for an iphone4 HUP. So just to confirm.. this will be transferred to me?

    Also, as per my original question.. would I be able to negotiate with retentions right away after I take the plan over?

    Just wondering if it was possible to talk retentions into letting me get the iphone 4 (I checked the iphone thread and I *think* this is better off in the retentions section)

    Currently on a retentions voice+data package totalling just under $45/month. Renewed December 09 for another blackberry for 3 years.

    Is there anything I can do/say to get retentions to help me out and let me HUP to the iphone 4? Two of my friends who had renewed just a couple months before me were able to do it.

    Just wanna say my account got tagged. It says if I call 1 more time they will cancel all my discounts. The rep read all the notes and told me NO MORE DISCOUNTS, even tho all I ask was about the unlimited plan. He said I read all the notes from today till the day you signed up for 3 years. He knew what I was trying to do and told me if I do it again, you r in big trouble. I just wanna let you know that even if you are calling about a simple plan. Some of those retention reps might catch on and then you are SOL
    Unlimited calling canada(free fongo app) + unlimited texting(1.99 fongo app) + 10gb lte data plan(Bell $50 + tax) + Voicemail/caller(free fongo app) = $56.99!!

    You can....however I believe it's an oxymoron.

    Consolidated Retentions KNOWS they are dealing with a consumer who has not only ONE ECF...but two..or THREE. What're you gonna do? ACTUALLY pay the $800 to leave all three services? They're far less inclined to 'bend'...who knows., my logic could be seriously flawed.

    Yes., as the line is what you are addressing...a line which meets tenure criteria.

    WRT HUPS., specifically., hups are 'revenue-based'. Post-TOR, Revenue is lost., so whatever eligibility you may have had based on accumulated revenue, would be gone, as the bucket would be now set to $0.

    HOWEVER......there are circumstantive hups which are maintained post-hup. As stated, 'tenure hup' that is a line that hasn't hupped in 30months, will still be eligible. NOT sure if this policy has changed or not lately...does anybody have a detailed spread of what hup rules are nowadays anyway? I haven't checked in so long since all we do is CR Hups anyway.

    Just wanted to water some mouths....It has occurred in past, that I've done a hup (yes iPhone...what else is there honestly???)., then tor'd....then realized that the iPhone eligibility was refreshed...crazy. Did another hup for the new acct holder....what a nice suprise that was for them . That's not supposed to happen lol.

    FYI, Retention hups don't have the same placement as a regular hup...so if you do a Ret'n hup...you might find that far sooner than expected-you may actually still be eligible for a hup (at a store., or online).

    Just wanted to know if the Cable has its on Retentions Department. I've always been dealing with the consolidated department when dealing with my cable.
    I'm not complaining, but i may be able to sweeten my cable deal if I just spoke to the Cable retentions department if they have one.

    Nothing special, I was offered the 30/20 for my cable/internet. Isn't stimulating my mind at all. Was trying to get them to throw in the free HD box. Was talking to the consolidated department. Still wondering if they have a department for cable only. Maybe i can score a better deal.

    Does the $10 Retentions Value Pack include WhoCalled? I've never seen anybody here mention that it does include it, but the rep I spoke to told me that it did...

    Thanks. I thought since maybe most of the newer plans have it as an "optional feature" it wasn't part of the value packs anymore...

    Actually it is now discontinued - there's a message when you call that informs you that the number is discontinued. Anyone know of another direct retentions number?

    Unless something has recently changed, the $10 VP includes Call Display with Name Display, Voicemail, and 2500 text. It doesn't include any other features. Who Called is provided as a free feature (along with call forwarding and call manager) on any GRRF-based plan. The plan will automatically come with the corresponding credits for Who Called, Call Manager, and Call Forwarding but the reps would normally have to manually add the features themselves. On your MyRogers account, those features should show up under "My Add-ons" if they've been added appropriately.
