Does WIND give you the same text package Rogers offered? Do you travel outside of the 'zone'? That may be a mitigating circumstance.

I would say cut ties with Rogers. Wind is very stable in Calgary and you are not in a contract. If you save about 20 bucks a month, yearly savings are 240. You can afford to change phone every year just from savings of a year + sale of your old phone.
