Hello all.
I am trying to put my Bell Motorola V9mm into Bootloader mode. I have searched the entire forum and the entire planet (via google) there is no information on this. The reason for trying this is that I read about a trick on how to fool Motorola Software Update into downloading updates after the 1 year warranty ends. In order to try this trick, the phone needs to be in Bootloader mode.
For your info, holding the * and # and END keys does not work. I did try it for fun and (with the phone powered off) all I get is a "blue screen" with the words "power key reset" followed by the Motorola Logo and thats all.
If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Kelly
That's the bootloader mode! If you see the "power key reset" message, it's because you're holding the END key for too long - the correct procedure is, while * and #, press END, and quickly release all keys.
You just need to plug the phone in that state to MSU and let it do its job(Or head over to the VZW Moto hacking forums, you can find the upgrade files for your Bell V9m there)
