F-08a help

i just bought my f-08a and i notice the sms has a 70 character limit so i tried some googling. people say i have to change the input to english through sms setting but i cant seem to access the sms setting function anyone knows why and what must i do to change it to english input?

some hypersims have that blocked out...you need an expired docomo sim to change it I believe.

hmm i just bought it and i am new to japanese phones. if i buy a new hypersim will it solve this problem?

depends on the hypersim...most wont, the one that does(mrsim) most people dont get it working right, and Im not sure if it will enable the menus, I know it does for me on my telco(att)

i am on ismartphone(black pcb) hypersim is it normal to have such issues?

and does this really means i need a new hypersim to unlock the sms settings?
