I noticed the louder ringer right away as it was installing doing it's restarts which is nice. I'm ticked that you now have to slide to unlock the phone AND then put the pattern in to unlock the phone but if you change it to no pattern it takes off both. So it's either 2 things to unlock the phone or nothing. What is up with that it has to be a bug??????
My phone is now requiring a pin to unlock it on 2.2 which is going to drive me insane, when I go to disable this, it says option disabled by remote phone administrator? Any help?
Well, here's an update that I just found.
Went outside to do a sample video recording (using the Everyday scene).
Then when playing it on the PC, I saw that it is now 30FPS and in Stereo (44.1khz sampling) using the front two speakers. But if you change to one of the other modes (like outdoor) it knocks it back down to Mono.
For some reason though if you record videos indoors (low light) then it goes down to 15-20fps to let more light in.
So I'd suggest everyone that has updated the X to go outside and record a video and see if you get better results than before.
also is it just me...
or are the display colors a little richer? everything seems a bit deeper and with more contrast
might just be my lighting though
Actually I thought that too, but I figured it was just me... Kinda along the lines of how would an update improve the screen like that, but i think it did.
Also I noticed it fixed the pixels in my camera I had random pixels on the screen, but not in the actual picture.
Is anyone having difficulties connecting there X to they computer after this update? My computer no longer recognizes the device.
None here - works like it did before. Although I did see a new device mount along side the removable storage device I normally get with the droid. This mounts like it's a CD and has a couple of executables in it called 'MotoConnect_1.1.3.1_Driver_4.7.1.exe' and 'setup.exe' (plus an .ini and a .inf file). Looks like some sort of Windows driver installation software. I have a Mac so I cant run it to see what it is.
