I received an email from Boost saying that I am a valued customer that they are giving me 1 month free. They said to check my account and the money has already been credited to my account. I checked my account and I am not seeing any credit.
Has anyone received this type of email? It looks to be real but anything is possible.
It's real. I have received this promotional / customer retention offer in the past (during the UNLTD by Boost days). Boost Mobile must have had a higher than avg churn rate this past quarter. The last time they did this was during the $50 Unlimited iDen roll-out. There were no new cdma phones at that time for UNLTD by Boost subscribers and it seemed like they were trying to keep subscribers from defecting to other services.

That's interesting. I got 2 months completely free about 4 months ago, yet never got a email or text. I found out when i wanted to use my Sprint Centro on another account. Was cool, but didn't want the #.
I am starting to think this email was fake. It tells me that they have deposited my monthly amount to the account at the beginning of the month, however I keep checking and not seeing any credits. There is not anyway to reply to the email.
