Telus Milestone MP3 autostart jack... are they all bad?

In reference to to the problem where music would startup automatically when you removed your headphones, how widespread is it?

I noticed that they "fixed" it recently in their recent amendment to 2.1, the music starts then stops right away lol

Anyway on my unit, when i'm listening to music it will pause/resume very often just by the cord moving a little bit or the jack turning a bit. I'm wondering if all the milestones are like that or weather I should send it in for repair.


Additionally, since I'm not with TELUS, do I have to contact moto directly to get warranty work done?

Mine first one was like that... Now the second one I have is starting to act up the same way... So i guess they are all like that
