Well, the HX1 uses that bone conduction thing for noise reduction. The Oasis has no such feature. However, I did realize you could probably slip a foam wind sock on the tip of that mic, like I did with my Plantronics 975 once, if you really want to kill wind noise.
Well I have TOO many BT headsets... the last one I got was the Moto HX-1... it works well... but I can't get the bone conduction to work consistently... (WAY too position dependent)... and the dam thing hurts my ears from the headset pinching my cartilage.... so comfort would be a huge thing for me... but I bought the HX-1 for its noise-cancelling ability... so .. I hope that this one will work... I hould have returned the HX-1 since I couldn't get it to work right and it hurts... but I didn't and now I'm stuck with it (and many others)
just want the noise cancellation of the jawbone. the clear voice of the voyager pro / 975, the wind protection of the HX1 is that too much to ask?
Yes, guess it is.
It's called the Icon.
I really thought I'd never find all of the above but my Icon does it

Ok just got the Oasis. Yes, it is the most comfortable headset on the planet. It just seems to balance perfectly on the ear. I had a little bit of trouble deciding what ear to put it on with what size ear gel but it is pretty good. I seem to be having voice quality issues like existed on the HX1 with the muffled crystal talk problems. It seems that on my end (speaker), calls sound a little muffled but it is not consistent. Doing the plantronics test showed the the noise cancellation is pretty darn good but I still have the muffled problem. May swap it out for another unit.
