Samsung fascinate galaxy s sch-i500 cannot manually program?? Help needed

Got one here and it wont program OTA even after a factory reset like the eris's usually need to work.... NONE of the * numbers are working it keeps holding the OLD verizon MDN...

I have used ##PROGRAM on some android phones but that also does NOT work on this one..

Cannot find ANY info on this new to the market phone on how to MANUALLY program....

Also hooked it to CDMA Workshop but USB not recognized... I have the Samsung studio thingy installed also and updated but still no go..

DOES anyone know how to manually enter the SERVICE PROGRAMMING MENU on this phone yet?

FINALLY FOUND IT and it WORKED for the Samsung SCH-i500

(Courtesy of XDA-Developers!)

To access the hidden menus from the dialer:
• Open the dialer and enter *#83786633 then press the Home key
• Open the dialer again (clear previously entry if it is still present) enter *#22745927
• Enter the SPC 000000 then enable Hidden Menu

Now you can enter Service Mode by entering **772

I just gave it to you buddy...If what I gave you doesn't help or turn on a lightbulb then you need to see a dealer in your area.

Ok I'm having more trouble than I should with this. I don't understand the instructions at all. I've been trying all day to get this to program. Its driving me crazy. Someone please help me. I need simple terms. Thank you.

Umm you shouldnt have to unlock it, that is for gsm phones.

Maybe Ibn08 meant flash it, since the poster wants to use it on Cricket? If so, since this is a PagePlus forum, maybe the question should be asked in the Cricket forum...

I can't get this to work. When I enter *#83786633 from the dailer and press the home key, it just goes home.

Great! a little confusing because u have to re-enter the spc again (000000) and then press ok at the end but it is working awesome now!

This worked for me. Pretty cool. Now I can access the Terminal Mode/Service Mode. It appears I can change some of the various settings, but I'm not sure what the settings truly mean. It's a Verizon phone, and I am trying to set it up for my AT&T SIM card. Anyone have knowledge that might help me accomplish this??
