Dummy ESN

When doing multiple ESN changes, what do you use for a dummy ESN? I tried 13800111111 but it says it has a pending activation. I will sometimes grab and old phone from the recycle bin or something, but it would be nice to have a legit dummy ESN to use.

We keep a list (with model #s) of esns from phones that we have pronounced dead. This list has both VZW and Alltel esns and of course with a choice of smartphones, multimedia phones and basic phones. Once it goes onto an account, we remove it from the list.

There are 2 dummy ESN's we're supposed to us, once for VZW changes and one for Alltel changes.

Of course I'm at home and can't remember what they are :-\

We got an email recently to use these ESN's only and NOT old equipment ones:

VZW ESN: 13800000400
ALLTEL ESN: 13800000500
