If you shake your Fascinate, does it make a noise similar to a rattle because the volume rocker is loose? Mine does and while it doesn't really bother me as I don't often shake my phone, I want to make sure it is normal.
Yep, most of them do this. While a little annoying it is perfectly normal. If it really bothers you, there is a simple fix. Just pull off the back cover and then cut a small piece of thin cardboard (cardstock would work) and slide it behind the volume rocker to keep it from wiggling.

Good to hear, and while it doesn't bother me right now, it might at some point and that's a very easy fix, thank you!
Another very easy fix is to simply get a protective case for your phone. I bought the small black smooth silicon case for my Fascinate and the volume rocker does not rattle an more.
Where did you get it? I'm hoping Best Buy gets some cases in soon because I really don't like the cases that Verizon sells for it. I haven't found any stores, online or otherwise, with a good selection of Fascinate cases.
And I have another kind of random question I'm hoping you can answer. Can you remove sections from the Daily Briefing? I love the widget but I don't want stocks, I'd like it just to be weather and calendar.
As far as the Daily Briefing widget, I don't use it since it is a Touchwiz widget and I use Launcher Pro. That said, I've heard others with a similar complaint to yours so I don't think you can only display certain sections.
Mine does but it doesn't bother me. I only shake it for the Moron Test and ShootMe apps.
I just downloaded the ShootMe app and I love being able to actually use it since I'm not into rooting. I also have the Droid 2, which requires a root for ShootMe to work, so this is refreshing. With the Droid 2 I had to do screenshots via the SDK, which was a little bit of a hassle. So since I now have a reason to shake my phone, I'm glad I put the little piece of paper behind the volume rocker to keep it from making noise. It does, unfortunately, cause the volume rocker to be a lot more stiff though, which makes it more difficult to change the volume at times - but it's not too bad.
