Wind making a complaint against Chatr is a joke. Wind has made a complaint against Chatr, because Chatr advertised saying " fewer dropped calls than the new entrants" is a big joke.. As we all know its true that Wind has dropped calls, and several technical issues, like (1) porting issues, took then two weeks to port my number from telus. (2) signal strength issues, I had made several complaints to Wind regarding I had issues not being able to use my Wind phone inside a building, but they kept saying it will be fixed shortly, but never did. (3) I had at least 2-3 dropped calls per day, I made complaints to Wind and they promised it would be fixed shortly but never did. (4) customer service issues regarding staff that aren't trained enough to deal with issues from customers. (5) issues with phones not switching from away to home automatically, and need to turn phone off and back on to make the switch. (6) phones keep switching to away even though inside a home zone and being charged extra. (7) Wind ignoring complaints from customers by deleting post off their website to hide the facts. So in conclusion if you take all the complaints from wind customers since wind first launched its a fact that Chatr is right, by telling the truth of how they see it, by hearing all the complaints from Winds even own forum on their website. how else did they get the info from????? And Winds tony saying that Chatr has no proof of how many dropped calls there are, its right there from the forums and all the customers at chatr making complaints when they were previously with wind.

I remember some time ago one of the big 3 exec said that wind had limited handsets, terrible customer service, spotty network coverage, dropped calls, poorly trained customer service staff, insane wait times for phone support, lousy tech support and something about a camel network.. And Tony was beating his chest about the camel reference.
Want to shut up the critics? Fix the network. Eliminate the countless dead spots, and put up a bloody tower a real one show the critics that you are here to stay! Sign some long term leases, buy some office space, eliminate the Egyptian and Indian call centers. Get some new handsets. Live up to the hype.
And just admit the network drops calls and not that it is someone else's fault. sheesh
doesn't look like its as big of a joke as you thought...
rogers will be out 10mill very soon![]()
True they also have over 90 millions subs and did a profit of 1 billion last year.. umm but rogers has 6 million subs and did 2 billion in profits. ouch.. as an investor I call that a failure. But hey its bidness! I have read peoples take on all this.. I agree with the others there is much more to this than meets the eye.
maybe people in the rest of the world just aren't dumb enough to pay what Robbers et al. charges for cell phone service
OCZ,
*HUMOUR Sawiris says... So they (i.e. Big-3) break the rules, sue their a$$; We break the rule (i.e. foreign ownership), Tony Clement fixes it! How?
Remember, they say we have got more dropped calls... they say Chatr has fewer dropped calls because Rogers run it. Oh wait... let us to roam on Rogers all the time, then we will drop fewer calls... we pay Rogers $10M roaming fees, so they can pay the $10M back to the government!![]()

I said as an investor. Ripping us off? They own the spectrum so they dictate the rate. Had the Government adopted the same wireless model as in say Europe then they would own the spectrum, and the carriers would have to compete for your business. As a business Rogers Wireless is light years ahead of Wind/Orascom ( wireless division ) profit wise.
As I said from the standpoint of an investor Rogers is far better off that Wind. Look in the news, The Owner of Wind is now saying its a 50/50 chance they will Merge with VimpleCom, internal and external issues are making this an issue.. so again as an Investor Rogers is the better bet.
Of course I pay more with Rogers. I am fine with that because I need my handset to work.
J__,
Greetings.
If you have no idea of how hypocritical Sawiris' WIND is (and what exactly WIND is doing business for), then you have no idea what my humour is all about.
