The iPhone 4 has the best battery life of any smartphone that I have had so far. I'm getting 7 hours of usage in a little under a 2 day period:

    3G ON
    WiFi ON
    Bluetooth OFF
    Location Services ON
Push Mail OFF, Fetch hourly ON.
Auto-Brightness ON, and set at 75%
My usage: Voice calls, messaging, Safari, iPod player,
Navigation, Weather & News, YouTube, Camera/Video, and email.

3g on, wifi on, 1 account on push mail, brightness 50%, location on, bluetooth off, jailbroken

this is mostly wifi browsing and streaming, hour of ipod, some 3g data and maps

i'm getting 1.5 to 2.5 additional hours on top of my iPhone 3G battery life when it was brand new.

Here is mine, I'm pretty impressed:

Get my iP4 last friday. Did 2 full cycles (empty until it shutdowns and charge for 12hours) this week end. Haven't plugged since monday morning.

    Use:
Mostly Reeder, Twitter, Facebook, AppStore+apps downloads, podcast/music listening and mails over 3G
And few pics, videos, SMS and some other.

Very very impressive battery life!! I have an iPhone 3GS and I get a small fraction of battery life of what you get.. I am also jail broken.. I am just curious If any of you guys are jailbroken and if being jail broken drains your battery a lot more?

This is 100% 3G data use. Wifi off. 3 hours streaming audio and the rest is apps, browsing, and push mail.

    My phone is jailbroken.

Am I the only one who doesn't run my battery into the ground? I never let it drop below twenty percent before I charge it.

Same here. I usually charge it every day, but it's recommended that you let it drain once a month for the battery meter to reset.

I only drain it when I'm checking the battery stats. Usually, I don't even let the battery go past 50% and I'll keep it plugged in when in the car using it even if it's at 100%. I keep it as full as possible.

I've been getting an average of 4.3 min per 1% usage. That's real usage like internet, cydia browsing, games
Not phony usage like ipod music. There's a reason apple's stats page have ipod usage seperate as almost double normal usage.

I never use push, notifications mostly off, location services mostly off (god bless sbsettings). fetch every 15 min, winterboard, lockinfo, sbsettings, NO unlock, 3g on, wifi generally on.
