I currently use the G1 and was looking at the upgrade option to the g2. My current data plan includes unlimited data+text for $34.99 but it appears that for the G2, the unlimited data plan is $30 and unlimited text is $10. Is this true? or it is because i'm looking at this offer through Wirefly?
of course it is true. retentions can get you $20 for data if you call to cancel your current plan.
Yeah it's all about haggling with them, they put me in the older $25 unlimited data plan, they did try to put me in the $30 though.
You have the right to keep your current plan. Dont pay more.
Home ISP, RR-Ultimate WiFi, $90/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited
School, $5,000/semester | Work
just go to a store, they can keep your current plan with no problem, wirefly forces you to change

The $34.99 Android web and message plan will work fine. Don't upgrade your plan, keep your current one.
I have the $20 data plan so I like to upgrade through T-Mobile directly and if you have GF'd features, I suggest you do the same. indirect sellers like Wal-Mart and Wirefly tend to screw up with these older features and/or force you to get the newer, more expensive ones.
I am interested in getting this phone.. The current internet that i have on my HTC Touch Pro 2 is "Phone First Web Plus". This is full 3g internet and we get it for $10 a month for the 3 lines in the account.
If i upgrade to this phone, will i be forced to change this data plan? Will it even work with the G2??
Thanks!
