Yes, MoWap, though no username or password showing in MoWap settings. I did a couple more tests today -- I noticed some servers on Speedtest.net show better results than others.

Yeah what's the deal with that? Does it matter which server you pick? Or does it have to be the closest to you...

I really don't know but I usually start with the closest servers. Having said that, I get better results from say Chicago than I do from Kingston, ON.

That's like what was happening to me...I was getting a really good one from Lynnwood(Seattle). But I can't figure out if that is accurate or not. If so mine is considerably better than previously thought. lol.

Well, I somehow got it work on Windows 7, and Internet Sharing works without a hitch there, didn't work on my Netbook with XP yet...

Here are some numbers:

here's what Mobilicity has done...

When I monitor my internet connection that goes through Mobilicity, I can hit speeds of 410 KB/s (a little over 3 Mbps) as long as I'm doing "normal" web browsing.

As soon as you load Youtube videos, the connection is automatically throttled so that you will never achieve more than 100 to 115 KB/s (about 0.8 Mbps), assuming that you are loading nothing else through the internet at the same time.

If you try to go to watch.ctv.ca, fox.com, or justin.tv to watch a tv show episode, the connection automatically gets scaled back to 10 KB/s (or about 0.08 Mbps which is barely faster than dial up). If you go and load normal websites, you speed go back to normal but only for those websites. The video will continue streaming but only at that throttled 0.08 Mbps rate. it doesn't matter what time of day and it's not because of network capacity or demand. This is simply being done by Mobilicity to prevent you from streaming videos or transfering files. I'll say this again: Mobilicity needs to stop advertising this as "unlimited data" because it's really just unlimited web browsing.

I have tried some "data intensive" services and it's throttled down like crazy.
I can't download games off of Steam for instance at anymore then something under 10KB/s.

BitTorrent for anything is pretty much a no go. Dial up speeds prevail.

I tried youTube video just now and the connection is too slow for realtime usage even for 360p videos..so I dunno. It's ok if you pause it and let it buffer a little bit.

I will give NetFlix a try in a little while. That's a good to go, it doesn't seem to be throttled for the moment..

Facebook, strangely enough is being throttled.. I get 3KB/s there... which means no Facebook Flash Games.

I'm not denying that I knew ahead of time that Mobilicity throttled but from 3.0 Mbps down to 0.08 Mbps? How does throttling streaming video from 3.0 Mbps to 0.08 Mbps help "give all customers equal access to data bandwidth" when it's 3am in the morning? What I'm really questioning is the Mobilicity's 24/7 throttling, the extent they are doing it to, and the fact that they advertise "unlimted data" when it is really only unlimited web browsing.

Erm... I bought the NOKIA 5230 and I tried to check my speed on speedtest.net but the images don't show up. I get a small icon of picture (sky and some trees) split in half. Sorta like a red ex I guess. I'm guessing it's a broken picture/link icon as it's always where an image should be...Umm what do I need to do or download to get images to show up on my Nokia 5230??

The default Nokia web browser doesn't support full flash. Try using Skyfire and that website should work better.
