Issue#2, the famous rebooting

I swapped my sim to my captivate for couple of hrs & when I tried to put the SIM back into my N8, it rebooted

As in hard reset? Or just a soft reset?

What?! As in wiping your phone? Why would putting the sim in a captivate cause a hard reset when popping it back into the N8?

I guess I was not clear. Reboot was on N8 when I put the SIM back from Captivate. It was not hard reset as in wiping out the phone. it is just a reboot, still annoyoing. May be the SIM is not hot swappable.

SIM cards are not supposed to be hot-swapped, as far as I know.

My ip4 works flawlessly with many many hot swaps, no issues whatsoever!

Read the posts carefully, before your jump the gun. Question is can we hot swap SIM, it is not about N8 comparison with ip4. You don't even own a N8, why do you even care?? Man, you belong to iphone forums, they treat you well over there

NO i don't own an N8......I will never own an N8. I read before I buy and never buy a new device for at least a month after release. I Nokia's case becasue of my experience with the N97 change month to "months"
