If this ends up being true, I just may get the G2. I've been holding out on switching to an Android device because I have the total internet plan which officially supports tethering.

The 5 GB cap bothers me some, but I'm sure the way things are going, there will be less and less options to retain my plan. Nexus One is an option, but I really would like something with a proper keyboard. Also starting to read reports of old data plans giving alerts on it.

Right now, I don't come close to 5 GB, but I'm sure with a smartphone my data use will go up, and in the future it certainly will with more streaming services.

Any idea when this OTA update is coming out?

Now we need somebody who can successfully capture the update files, and develop the working wifi calling update for ALL Android phone.
If so, this will be a killer!
