4 inches & it is that bad! It looks like a steel ball was dropped on it from 10 feet up!

it shouldnt be too hard to disassembly though. just start under the battery and you should be on your way.

This is a reason why I use soft silicone case for protection. Since it is soft, it can absorb some impact if you drop the phone.

    ahahahahahahah ^^^^
Silicone cases do not help with drop resistance. AT ALL.
You need something that will absorb the shock, and rubber doesn't do that. Your Myth has been Busted.

    Google next time.

How does this work with the slide out keyboard?

It has 2 parts (I have soft case for TP2): one is used for main body and the other is used for screen. There's a tab to hold the case.

Hmm I didn't see that option when I picked up my phone from target? Also phone is still fully funtional even tho there is a chunk missing near the home button. I guess it just fell on the corner at the right angle and crack! Still love the phone and I am going to fix it or bust! PS. I ordered the body glove case for the intercept.

The target employees are just terrible most of the time. They don't have signs and they don't even offer it. Take your receipt to the service desk and tell them you didn't know they had protection plans and you were never offered one. Thats what I had to do. I just used the $20 gift card for it.

Yeah thats right. They usually offer that on stuff like Tv's and Mp3 players. I totally forgot about that. It's ok I am my own protection plan.

I am currently training to become an authorized at&t repair tech. I think I did A good job concidering I had nothing to show me how to change it! Plus I noticed this digitizer is more sensitive and more responsive than before

Sorry to stray abit off topic but it appears that the screen is GLASS. Which is great. This to my understanding means that a screen protector isn't necessary. The reason I brought this up is because I was on a different thread where about everybody stated the screen is plastic, convincing me in the process. It's good to know

Yeah, I read that the screen was plastic, too. Can Acer21 confirm that the screen is glass...since he has had a real close look at it...

    Thanks.
