    AT&T $2/day and H2O $1/day Weekend Perfect Combination

For those days you know you will be doing a lot of talking or texting, H2O offers $1/day on Saturdays and Sundays only when you use it. This along with the AT&T $2/day plan is a nice setup. You need a 3rd SIM for those days you know you won't be using the phone much. For this, you could use an H2O SIM that lasts 120 days and buy a $30 card with 500 minutes or $40 with 800 minutes.

This is what I do. Except h2o charges you if someone sends a text to your h2o number during the week. I use google voice to forward between the two but random ppl sometimes text the actual phones.

Does AT&T Go allow you to switch, at will (or at some reasonable interval) between plans, like from the $2/day to Simple Rate and back? That would keep you from having to have the third SIM.

T-Mobile used to let you switch between their per minute plan and their $1/day plan (only really good for evenings and M2M) once a day without charge, but the $1/day deal is being discontinued for temporary use, but apparently you can keep it if you lock in now (changes are happening this coming week).

You can not switch online, you can switch via phone, and its all automated voice response but the website warns they can charge you $10 after first switch....

The H20 daily plan used to have unlimited text all the time but now it's a nickel for anytime texts. Oh well. It's a good subsitute for the now dead Pay by the day Tmo plan.

Problem is one text will trigger the daily fee.. so $1.05 for that first text of the day you receive and there's nothing you can do about it.
