Transferring minutes from GSM phone to a CDMA ? Possible?

Can I transfer minutes from a Net10 GSM phone (weak Moto W408) to a CDMA phone (LG100C) both of which are currently activated and operational? Possible to transfer just the minutes or must the phone number be ported over also? If the phone no. port is a necessity will it take longer since it involves two companies? (From ATT to Verizon.) Website do-able or must I use customer service? Thanks !

That's helpful but I'm on Net10. Works the same I imagine?

You will have to call CS to transfer to an active phone. Transfering the phone number just makes the transfer more complicated and its not necessary. You have to have added an airtime card and used the free minutes you received at activation, transfering only the remaining card minutes and service days (no one has said they object to also transfering the remaining free service days you received at activation).

Trac and Net10 are almost identical, except how the airtime is marketed.

Well, the tutorial posted by Cannonball II seemed to indicate it's possible but I think I ended up with a number port request anyway. Both phones remain active with their original number of minutes before I attempted the online transfer, yet my account lists them both as 'Inactive', but they're fully operational. I'll be calling Miami CS soon as they open.
