Using Opera mini 4.2.08 on my C3-00 with wi-fi in my house i get verification of server certificate failed. Please check the date setting in your device.
Which i did 2 times.
Even factory reset all of the phone, no succes
All this occured after i removed my sim card to get my new carrier one... since then wi-fi opera mini will give me this error.
installing new or older one doesn't fix it but give same error.
default phone browser works, ebuddy works, and a few other network apps.. except opera mini..
any one know of any other mobile browser that i could run good on a Nokia C3 in case i can never get this fixed?
I understand you have an unlocked phone, but do you have an unbranded and unrestricted firmware? Virtually all carriers do restrict the firmware on the phones they are selling (exceptions being iPhone and, to a lesser degree, Android-based phones), and yours could either be buggy, restricted (especially if you attempt to update an already-present application), or simply out of date.
To know the firmware version of your C3, type in *#0000#.
