Yeah, this just launched today. The program manager has asked for serious input on this. This is only phase 1 and if this info is useful, they'll continue to roll out the next phases that are really good. Tell them what you think, please.Originally posted by larryt510
Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dream has come true!!!!
it would be really nice if they would make rf contour maps available, even if it were only for retailers. i hate haveing to guess if someones house is covered and then getting a phone returned on me because the people lived ina dead spot or outside of coverage.
My awareness flows through the rivers of existence which pulse with the vibrance of my thoughts.
that would be great I used to make RF contour maps for wireless data carriers and for public safety systems, it really gives you a real idea on coverage, not the joke of maps the carriers use.Originally posted by ImmerStark

That would be great if they would keep this going. Maybe add some more markets. I noticed there was nothing listed for the bay area of CA yet. as well as many other states.Originally posted by howensby

I am actually a Virgin Mobile customer, but of course that means I'm actually on Sprint's network. I'd love to see Indiana listed on there, and those RF contour maps (even if they were just, say, various colors, and didn't give exact numerical signal strength) would be great to see too.
Especially with WNP coming, I think it would be nice for the general public to be able to get a better idea of each carrier's coverage. I think it would really help people who want a wireline replacement to determine what carriers (if any) have very good coverage for their home, business, places they spend a lot of time at.
Yeah, I like the map, but I personally think that if you are going to show specific states, you need to list all of the markets in the entire area (Michigan has Detroit, but not Ann Arbor).

At least they have MA and CT listed, the two states that I really care about. What's in the next phase?

Does anyone know when this October E-Newsletter will be out? I completely missed out on this!

That's weird they've changed the URL. Good thing I posted about this or I might not have known I had the wrong link.
