Samsung epic metropcs web

To Get web on the samsng epic you have to
Go to qpst and Click Start Client and Start Service programming and Press Read From Phone The SPC should be all 0's so click on the M.I.P. Tab and Change The Mobile IP Behavior To Simple Ip. Edit The M.I.P. Profiles at the Top. Your NAI and Tethered NAI should be (your10digitnumber@mymetropcs.com
Next Click On The PPP Config Tab and Click the UM Button your user id should be (your10digitnumber@mymetropcs.com and password is your 6DigitMSLCode.
When your done doing that go to wifi settings and and press menu button on phone and go to advance and under proxy:wap.metropcs.net and port:3128.

Dang thug you are my missing link!!! i have been trying to hack this epic for the longest time now!!!!!

My only missing piece to the puzzle was finding that menu for the proxy settings. I didn't know there was an advanced setting under wifi... I thought it was only for wifi so I never went in there!!!

Now my dang internet works!!!!!

Let me do the u2nl and autostart and see if apps works. If it does then if you need help with that I can help.

I'm just happy to get this to work. I was about to flash this to Boost but I am still scared of sending my $400 phone to someone hundreds of miles away to flash it.

Not really sure but if you want some system file so that you can see what you have and don't have I'm on epic experience 1.2.0.9 with phoenix kernel I took it to a guy to get flashed he figured it out I guess but if I can help let me no

sorry i sold the phone but yeah it had autostart but no u2nl and when i flashed new roms to play with nothing would work and when i got data working through your method it would work but my wifi didnt work but on my original rom everything worked

I got apps to work now as well... you have to use the autostart and u2nl file from whiterabbit for it to work.

Then remember to chmod them through Android Terminal if you are not good with ADB on your computer like myself.

Then install that autostart file from market and you are good to go.

Cant get MMS to work still...

i need mms i cant get it to work i flashed the metro web and have autostart.. but no mms even after changing the mmsc

autostart has nothing to do with the mms. MMS on the epic is harder to do than the htcs because the mms.apk has settings in a file that is all sprint.
