If I got a phone on contract ie. from suppose AT&T. Now i unlock it with the help of a third party. Then I use it for my world tour with some other networks, come back to US and use AT&T again. Is it possible ?
Will the network provider find out about it ? If they find out, will it be of any harm ?
Will I have to make a full contract payment ? I guess it would be illegal as the phone was in a contract. If i pay the full price till the end of the contract will it be not illegal then ?
No disadvantages to unlocking and your
cell should work almost anywhere as long as the country has the same bands and nope your carrier wont know u unlocked unless u
tell them and as far as im aware its legal to unlock it! Mines unlocked from rogers at&t and i love knowing i can use any sim i want In it!
Thanks Pisidan. Sure i'll be able to use it anywhere, but will the contract get affected ? What if they cancel my warranty? Cant live without warranty of such a big fat cell! I'm not exactly aware of the contract terms and conditions. Do tell what I need to do to get the phone at a low cost and make it usable anywhere. Sorry for the n00b question. Am not really aware.
