Looks great but no front facing camera for video conferencing? The EVO has it so why not this one? Again, WM phones are behind the curves when compared to Iphones & Android phones.

I see WP7 iis the ugliest and the worst phone OS ever, only square tiles.
zero WM 6.x/5.x application compatibility. no multitasking, no "copy and paste"
hardware is great though!
my HD2 looks much better
Actually WM phones have had FFC's for years in Europe before the iphone was even a concept. Even the Pharos 137 last year had one. WP7 is brand new so MS is not throwing in all features known to man but seem to want to mature the platform first. Sounds like a good move for overall stability.
The Last WM Fanboy
For some reason I don't recall the first Android or iCrap devices having a FFC. If this is the first generation of WP7 then you Android and iCrap fanboys should be shaking in your boots. This is clearly going to be the monster that not only bends the curve but creates an entirely new one.
I still don't get the fascination with the FFC. Its been out for years in other countries. We just get it here and everyone has to have them. I know of no one with a FFC camera phone so who would I be calling? Even if everyone had them, I still can't see having one.
United States of America 1776 - 2001 RIP
I see HD7 can deal well with Far East Languages (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean tested) and Arabic.
It's pretty possible WP7 is re-design platform, but I see it's still in infancy stage (no cut/copy/paste, no multi-tasking, no tethering, SD is non-removable).
If MS can deal with these, it's more appealing.
If the HD7 is bought at retail price, will it work with $10 unlimited dumphone plan?

Scottish,
Agree completely. This was to be the phone that replaced my TM506, but... No tethering, which I rely upon with the Cradlepoint CTR-350, no cut and paste (OK, it's coming, but when? And the whole idea of Windows Mobile is Office compatibility and usage). Can't use an additional SD? And finally, no HSPA+.
Won't be upgrading just yet. I want real Office compatibility, better speed, tethering and an external folding keyboard (bluetooth or mini-usb, just like my old Compaq iPaq years ago).
<sigh>

really I bought the phone when my screen on my touchpro2 went out had it for a couple days while my new tp2 was being crossed shipped was going to switch but said fooy on it as I have a hidden wifi and have been tethering since my MDA. Then really no cut and paste how far back in the os do you have to find that not as a feature in window pc software? win 0.9? how would you release something without it? it's basic to cut from a text message and paste into a contact list just from a simple phone use aspect. it's an update. really what's next the ability to use your phone as a paper weight? as that what mine is being use for now.
