Here's what I've found out about this phone so far. And a word of caution don't mess with anything unless you know for sure what you're doing because I have no idea how to help you if you mess up your phone, nor do I have the time. I'm simply posting this information as it pertains to our phones.
The best thing I found was the test menu which you can get to by typing:
*#0206*8378#
When you do that it will automatically go into test mode

Any idea how to browse the internals of this phone such as the folder or file where the default wallpapers are stored?
I tried TK File Explorer and got it to connect but doesn't display anything...
New PC Studio works but obviously can't browse anything inside the phone backend.
The reason I ask is because I'm so frustrated that an a custom wallpaper has black bars on it when you open it the slider way. I'm convinced the default wall paper images are actually two separate images or one big image that is used both ways... but I've tried 220x220 instead of 176x220 and nothing... it just has black bars BOTH ways now... slider closed or open... Atleast 176x220 displays fullscreen with slider closed but if you open it, and it turns the image, it then squishes it to fit thus giving side black bars. Ugly.
So yeah has to be two separate images Im guessing 176x220 and 220x176.
Is there a way to enable Edge on this phone? Because my niece is only getting G at the top of her phone which tells me it is only picking up GPRS which is very slow and it takes forever to send and receive MMS. I know the phone will not pick up 3G but I would think it would at least pickup Edge.
There is some discussion about when 2G will stop being supported in this thread. http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...mp-T-GSM-areas I just bought this phone refurbished for $20. I was having trouble finding reliable reviews for it before I opened the box.
I've tried this with my wife's phone, and it does seem to work. Fold a small piece of paper twice, remove the back cover, and tape the paper shim over the battery... and slide the cover back on. Firms up the battery and stops the intermittent powering off.
