how do i keep the file and it will still be animated?
I just discovered that my phone supports animated GIFs as wallpapers, and I'd like to get some cool ones, but I'm having trouble finding some. I need them in 240x400 screen size (I think). Anyone know any good sources for them? BTW, I would really like it if it were possible to get a GIF which looks kinda like the default stock Android 2.1 live home screen (with the moving coloured blocks). Is there such a thing out there?
simply clicking download seems to work for me...
thanks for the link that site looks good.
i save the file but it seems to keep the image moving i have to put it in web broser. how do i put this image on my phone and make it move?
i should have been more clear in my other post. i found out what a gift image is and how it works. it needs to be put into internet explorer. then you see it moving. thats why i cant use it as desk top back round. just a normal image. i understand that. but i have lg nv touch. i used bitpim to see where it stores gif files but cant find location. so how do i get this gif file into my phone and watch it move?
Wirelessly posted (Steve's phone: Mozilla/5.0 (BlackBerry; U; BlackBerry 9650; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.1+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/188.8.131.521 Mobile Safari/534.1+)
I don't recall being able to use an animated gif as wallpaper. If the phone can't see it in the my_pix folder on the sd card or the appropriate folder on the phone it's not going to.
Env touch does support animated flash wallpaper though
Free eBook, worth a read.
