VZW $69.99 450 Unlimited text and data?

I've received an e-mail from VZW offering me a plan that includes 450 minutes, with unlimited texting AND unlimited data for $69.99 all it required was a year contract extension, which does not interfere with my new every 2.

I was wondering if this is something new? Or just an offer for certain customers? I jumped on this offer because I have the same thing but am paying 89.99 including the 29.99 data plan. Seems like they are trying to compete with Sprints 69.99 everything plan.

And I did do a search on 69.99 and didn't find anything. Sorry if it's a re-post.

Hmm, never heard of that plan, but it sounds awesome! How long have you been with Verizon? Maybe this is some sort of customer loyalty thing or something. Or you're in a trial market for this new plan. Who knows, but lucky you!

This was Verizon? It had to limited to feature phones only though right?

Yeah, I'm very curious to know the market you're in and the type of phone you have.

If only so I can search for the SKU code for that plan in the system next time I'm at work

But it sounds like the old connect plan re-introduced if you've got a non-smartphone.

Wouldn't THAT be interesting....

That's.... interesting.

It's basically the old connect plan, but it looks like it's allowing smartphones given the note about ETF up to $350.

Market pressures. This combo looks interesting and promising.

I too am curious about which phones qualify for this plan. If it is a feature phone, then the appeal is not as great.

There is not a limit on the phone, It states a $350 ETF for smartphones in the ad.

This has been getting tested in slightly different flavors in different parts of the country.

I'm still months away from my NE2 and contract renewal of my family plan. I would like to see this go nationwide.

$350 for advanced devices. $175 for the other phones.

Some of the test plans has unlimited mobile to mobile for ANY carrier. I think something new will come around early next year. After all these plans sign up dates expire and they crunch the numbers.
