Hehe, don't count on me testing it soon! I won't be back in Dallas until September or October. Having said that, more Florida tests to come!

Forgot this one..it was done a few weeks ago when I was in Southern California. I was mostly testing speeds on my mom's Atrix, but I forgot to bring those results with me to Florida. This was the only screen cap of a CA test.

(taken either in Orange County or around Hollywood..can't remember anymore)

Aaand one more, since I'm back from International Drive early.

BTW, it stinks that Orlando (Central FL) doesn't have it's own speedtest.net server. I usually use Cocoa or Tampa, but both those servers return high pings. I just tried the Jacksonville server (hosted by Comcast) and am consistently getting pings with 100-150ms. Go figure.. Also, Orlando seems to be really good with reception, but speed tests are very hit-or-miss.

Is this a hint LTE is going live at the same time?

Fiber backhaul for Verizon in Southern Illinois in 2013 - about time.

See this is the CRAP that i am talking about…!!!!

I live here in central Fla and i have MANY friends with iPhone's and NONE of us can break 1M… I travel the I-Drive Florida slang for (international dr) area probably like 3 times a month and never get the speed you just got..!! My fastest yet was in my signature and it was only ONE time on a sunday morning at 720am, i have hit 3M two times. Yet we have an outsider come into our state and city and hits 3M. I live literally 3 miles from the 408 and semoran and my average speed at home is 600k… Ping times are always high up in the 1000+ ms area.

Signal strength is 95% of the time strong 4+ bars until you get to the Hunters Creek area where signal will be low and sometimes even NO signal while out in the middle of the street… I cannot complain about signal strength cause its always 4+ bars, voice quality is excellent, texts always go thru.. The only problem here is data… ALWAYS under 1M with high ping times…
    iPhone 4S on AT$T: Unlimited Talk, Text & Web w/NO throttling….
iPhone 4 on Boost Mobile: Talk, text, MMS & 3G Data .. since 6.11.12

If you can't see that todays society has gone to sh*t, then you ARE the problem or PART of the problem…

LOL I've broken 3Mbps many times, including last night at the Dave & Buster's on I-Drive. From Conway/Belle Isle to Alafaya near UCF, College Park to Millennia, I've broken 3. Around Downtown near 55 West, I barely break 2, but that may be because the signal isn't always the greatest.

Results from Gainesville, FL and Jacksonville, FL.
AT&T has kept its capacity up here just right. Cant wait to get some MPLS backhaul in Gainesville.

A lot of those look like a 3GS speed test in SoCal. I typically hit +2Mbps, and 3Mbps is common here. Speeds seem a little better now that school is back in session.
    AT&T... your world, throttled.

Oh and 55 West… the dead center of Downtown Orlando hehe, that is the worst spot for me data wise, constantly in the low 250k's….
