My family uses TIKL ptt to keep in touch. I purchased the ew Sanyo ZIO and when I download it it does successfully but when I try to use it it unexpectedly stops and I have to click ok on the force shut down. My wife and kids, using a different phone, can use it with no problems. I also had this same error in other apps, but I can just erase and download a different on.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this and use it. And, is Sanyo going to do anything about this?
Sorry for the long delay but just recently got the Zio.
The Zio is probably the worst implementation of an Android phone ever. Sanyo does not make phones anymore, this one is made by Kyocera (or whoever they contract out to in China). Sad that both Sanyo and Kyocera used to make high quality phones but that is no longer true.
Yes TIKL fails; obviously nobody has done anything about this over the past 2+ months. I get invalid country code, then it flashes that it is optimizing in an infinite loop, and then have to do a battery pull. Posted the error on TIKL's fb page. Zio 2.1 here.
