    I ordered an HTC MyTouch 4G and will unlock it when I get it. I currently use a BB 970l0 on Mobi with BIS. Will I need to call Mobi to tell them that I won't be using BIS data anymore so that regular data will work?

    Thanks all!

    No reason to. I'm using a BIS plan with my HTC Panache. Just leave it. Gives you the option to change back to a Blackberry without adding the BIS back later.

    Cool thanks!

    T-mobile is releasing the Gingerbread update to their MT4G users. I assume I won't be able to get this update on Mobilicity? Do I have to root the phone first to get any updates or can I download updates? Sorry, android noob.

    I am borrowing my friend's BB 9700 from T-Mobile to use until tomorrow so just curious how Blackberry data is set up. I already called into Mobilicity and told them to add (or activate) BIS to my F&F plan (so everything is set up on Mobi's end, saw the add on when I logged onto my account). But when I look at the phone, it still says mobile data is not connected, so I'm curious how it works with Blackberries. Do I need to set up an email account before I can access the App World? Some input would be awesome guys, thanks!

    I put my Mobi SIM into the brand new Galaxy Nexus and it sets up the APN for me without me doing anything! Seriously.

    Hello, I recently bought a BlackBerry Curve with an unlimited Mobilicty Plan and not the BB Data Plan.
    However, I often find myself redirected to the Mobilicity Payment/Balance Page when I browse the internet and select links (Such as the blackberry website).
    I check my balance and it says I owe $0, yet I wonder why the browser pages always redirects me to this Mobilicity Page since it does get annoying.

    I should really know this but I don't;
    I'm trying to set up an unlocked (w!nd) BlackBerry Bold 9780 on Mobi- and I don't know where to start insofar as what needs to be input where.

    If anyone can help I'd be obliged.

    Thanks in advance!

    Doesn't it just automatically work? I have an unlocked Bell 9700 that I used on TELUS and it just worked. Didn't have to make any changes.

    Howard, you're right.
    As a BlackBerry, all it needed was unlocking. Once the SIM card went in, everything was automatic.
    Magic.

    Thanks bud!
