Hello maybe someone who has the same phone can help me.
I purchased a T-Mobile samsung galaxy s vibrant phone and it works pretty well with mobilicity except few things.
MMS settings don't work for me. I tried both all the imaginable combinations (some posted here and some posted elsewhere) and i simply cannot make the MMS feature work.
The number two issue has to do with 3G network. Every time I find myself where there is no reception (some building, subway etc...) obviously I lose all signal and my phone is in searching mode. Upon leaving the no reception area my signal returns and I can make calls, however, my 3G network never comes back. I tried various widgets and various configuration but nothing seems to help. The only the solution for me is to restart the phone and only then the 3G network would appear.
Anyone has any ideas about this.
Thanks.

connexx,
Thank you, My network problems were resolved with setting to 1700 band only.
MMS problems are still there.
I've found that MMS does not work on Mobilicity unless you go through its proxy.
proxy server address 10.100.3.4
proxy port 8080
I've also noticed something repeatable on my phone. Any time I try to send a picture bigger than approximately 100KB, the message wil fail to send (the data is transmitted but the Mobilicity server simply refuses to accept it). As soon as I send a very small image (less than 100KB in size), the message sends fine for me every time.
I couldnt get the mms to work at all even with a 6kb pic, self sent. I cant even download the mms pic that was sent from rogers. Anyone mind to taking a screen shot of the mms setting and post it here. Thanks
Pretty sure all Vibrant owners are having the same MMS problem to date.
MMS used to work for me earlier this week, using stock 2.1 t-mobile ROM (JI6). Sent 4 test MMSs out (2xRogers recipients, 1xFido, 1 to myself on Mobi). The Fido one was never received. Then MMS stopped working altogether, sometime Tuesday. I've since tried a bunch of other ROMs since then and MMS has never worked again, even sending 60k photo to myself.
Mobi's probably tweaking settings on the network to accommodate the new subscribers/cities. Hopefully this will be working again soon.
The MMS settings are the same as the Internet settings. Make another MMS called MoMMS2 and use the same info as internet then just put type as mms!
