I have personally noticed that the cap on the home modem is now gone. I am getting about 10 Mb/s since last month with the Motorola modem. I am also constantly getting five bars of coverage. It used to fluctuate a lot between two to four. I am not sure what has changed, but I am happy now that my modem and Clear Spot get about the same speeds.

That's very good news, as I've been thinking about adding a home modem on a second line to use for all the computers at the house. Very good news indeed. Might call Clear and ask about that now.

Also, I haven't checked in a long time, but it turns out Clear has brought back the usage meter on their "My Account" website. Since November 17th, I've used about 9.9 GB of data! But that includes some fairly large digital downloads (TV shows and movies) on my Xbox 360.

I used much more than any of you (around 60-110GB) as this is the internet connection for the house (Damn Verizon never deploys FIOS here and DSL never achieve more than 3Mbps).
