how do you set a picture as your wallpaper on the intercept without cropping it?

i downloaded all these wallpapers that fit the intercepts screen perfect but everytime i set it as the wallpaper it forces me to crop it. When i do crop it i can only get half of the image.

heres a vid explaining what i mean

OK...I spent a lot of time making wallpaper for the intercept & I understand exactly what you mean.

Here is a wallpaper I made

Notice how the the ninja in the middle is laid out? That is what you need. Then the sides should just be something else or black.

When you scroll the other ninja pics open in the main window.

If you need help with a certain pic you want, PM me & I will do it for you.

    I hope that helped you.

Yeah, I noticed that too... no rule-of-thirds perspective should ever be used. The center should be the focus, with the rest just around it adding detail as necessary.

For you artistic people out there.

I just did this REAL quick as an example of the theory of the wallpaper layout.

the center pic is the main until you scroll.

I think I'll one-up you by showing a more gradient example... you can have a picture in the center, but you lose the focus when it's not centered... something like the effect this image denotes.

I thought it was a Mongolian Naming Pole. (Did you see that? I just made it up.)

There's an app called Amazing HD Wallpapers, or something of the like... it has some great wallpapers in it, but if the subject is a ship, or some small object that's not centered on the screen, it ends up looking stupid... that's how I discovered the Rule of Center for the Intercept and Android phones in general

I'd hate to get a better phone and then realize how much the Intercept's resolution sucked...

What made me mad was I made a krap load of wallpapers for the Rumor Touch. Then I heard the intercept was the same size screen so I was happy. Then I find out it was this scrolling thing that threw a wrench into the entire workings. Plus big widgets like Beautiful widgets really is hard to work around with a nice pic unless it is more abstract art.

Here is my newest one i am using. It is a shelf where the widgets sit on. I have extended controls at the top of mine & then beautiful widgets clock with weather under it & the layout fits perfectly. I just uploaded it to Zedge now.

People who like the wallpaper enough, move their apps to other screens so they're a click away. Zedge gives me quick access to, well, up to my top 5 without throwing a hissy fit.

Ha ha ha ha...Never thought of that! Move the widgets & shortcuts to other screens so the main screen is uncluttered & sexy showing wallpaper! Sometimes the simplest solution is right in front of you and you never realize it!
