Hello everyone I'm new to the site and I've been looking for about 2 weeks now with a lot of internet searching leading me back to here. so here comes my question.
I recently purchased a data cable for my Torino S2300 and my pc does not recognize it honestly I figured it wouldn't. I've gone to Kyocera's site and have had no luck. I've gotten a hold of Bit-pim but my phone isn't listed there either. the only other program I've heard of is GAGIN and I can't find that anywhere. all I want to do is to easily upload ring-tones and wallpapers and whatever else without having to go to a third party site to upload my stuff there and then download it with my phone. so is there any way I can sync my phone and PC? or im I beating on a brick wall hereand got robed out of my money? any help would be great. thanks

I´ve just got this phone for my daughter cause looking thru Internet found pages saying it was a smartphone....
the thing is that it does not says how smart it is!!!
So far sends sms´s and rings when I call...
DON´T BUY IT.. IS JUST A REGULAR PHONE.. Kyocera has no customer service neithers drivers to connect it to pc...

Kyocera Torino S2300 does not transfers files via usb data cable
The only way you can do this is via bluetooth. I recently purchased this phone and troubleshooted it. You would need to enable file sharing or network sharing from connections on any phone then transfer files but the Kyocera Torino doesn't have such feature to be able to do that. The only thing you can do with the usb cable is print a picture from your phone. I was able to set up a modem from the Kyocera Torino S2300 phone with a usb driver software but it doesn't even allow you to tether it because it asks for a username and password. Metro Pcs doesn't provide a username and password nor has one to give. Your best bet is to get a bluetooth dongle on amazon for a couple dollars for your operating system, connect it, enable bluetooth on your phone and transfer files. You might be able to see your internet from the phone on your computer screen, not sure yet because I'm still waiting for mine. But don't listen to all these idiots who say you can transfer data via USB CHARGE DATA SYNC CABLE BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY AND YOU NEED A MEMORY CARD TO DO THAT. Also Kyocera Torino doesn't have a space for a memory card. So quit hitting that wall and realize it cant be done. I'm an IT specialist, my boyfriend does IT work as well and we troubleshooted it. Just people making it out to be a smart phone when its only a qwerty phone. I personally love the phone. Doesn't beat $30.

... I was wondering if maybe you can help me out. I got the kyocera torino for my bday in December 2010. The phone itself is fine. Works a bit slow.at times but whose phone doesn't.??... well the problem I'm having is that I had set up the phone to automatically lock itself on power up. And now I cannot for the life of me remember what it is!!!! .. are there any codes, pw's I can use that wont reset
the phone itself &delete anything?!!??? ... can u plz email me. "erickamn@yahoo.com" thank you so much. I appreciate any help &input. B-)
