Is there a way to install an emulator onto my old E815

You can have emulators on your E815... but only if it has Java, and this means taking the death pill and flashing to Bell firmware (which may or may not be an option depending on your carrier and current firmware/hardware version).
I have an ancient E815 from late 2005, from Movistar Venezuela, flashed to Bell, and i'm using MeBoy (a GameBoy emulator) on it... but it's SLOOOOOOW (around 3-4FPS, mostly unplalyable for Mario, and forget it about Pokemon :P). The Java VM on Bell E815 firmware is mostly a piece of crap, so don't expect miracles - and for NES emulation you most likely want a smartphone or something with raw power.
tl;dr: It's your pick: flash to Bell, and choose between GB ROMz at 3FPS, or REAL java games![]()

First on Venezuela...
- Movilnet V3c with Telus Java -again- (Hack Lab Rat V3c)
- Movistar K1m with Telus Java+EvDO... evil!
- JUST IN: Movistar E815 with Bell Java... minus $$$$$ data :P
