Yeah, you get two free months of data with a new contract so that you can learn the limits of your usage.

Seriously though, you shouldn't have all that stuff on anyways! What do you need it for :-P. Those things are major battery and data sucks, and you can just ask for the information at your leisure. I have everything off on my phone. That means no location data, mail only when I ask for it, low brightness, and absolutely no updates I don't initiate myself. I can easily get through a day with only 1/3 of the battery gone, and that's with mild texting.

Anyways, thanks for the data info. I've noticed that the device really doesn't eat up much of anything as long as you're sensible. The people updates are negligible, browsing mobile versions of sites is very efficient, and using wifi for big downloads at home is the way to go.

So far? Very happy with the phone. Not the data hog I initially thought it would be... unless I WANT it to be one.

Oh of course, totally learned my lesson! However, I need my University email on round-the-clock because of work so that's staying on. But man, Bing aerial mode OFF.

Otherwise, I'm very happy with it. Just need tweaks!

Just got the Focus the other day. The battery doesnt last as long as the specs say. Migrating from a BB so it will take a bit to adjust. The data will be the biggest issue. This is my first true touch screen so I havent had much experience with touch screens.
Is the future really that friendly?

How to sync the outlook contacts on my desktop with the phone? Do not have a exchange server.

Can anyone else reproduce this issue? I can.
Nope. Mine has no trouble at all.

Anyhow, I bought this phone the other day. to tell you the truth I wasn't sure what to expect and was going back and forth between Android and WP7, finally settling on WP7. I just got to say if you're not sure, but you're thinking of getting one, DO IT! This is a fantastic device, I come from a Windows Mobile 6.5 device so to me the Apps section is fine for now. 6.5 SUCKED!!! The responsiveness of the tiles and all the menu's on this phone are what I really like the most about it.

Do it, you won't regret it!

I love the phone. My only two complaints that I can think of at the moment are the lack of apps, and the bluetooth doesn't work well with my Ford Sync system. People say they can't hear me very well at all.
The apps are very sparse. I can't even get Bank of America or Chase. I'd like to see AT&T Mark the Spot so that I could report problem areas too.

It works well in my Dodge with Uconnect - wierd, Sync is a Microsoft product!

10000 apps and growing - the best thing about WP7 is it doesn't really need any...

I know, I've only had it for a few days and I just can't put it down. It's so fast in everything it does!

That's what I thought. My other phones worked great with the Sync too. Maybe it's a Samsung thing. It does support texting through Sync though. That's pretty cool. Even my Iphone 4 didn't support that.

That would be cool - I would even consider switching to team fjord just for SYNC!
