7 Years on HoFo

I came on here to change an alpha tag on a Ericsson T28...to say my name!....and i spent like $250 on one of the first bluetooth headsets HBH-10.... I saw the color revolution with the T68m/i....man i went through like 4 of those phones. T610.. demanding tri band phones!! nokia 8890 slider... nokia 7xxx matrix modified phone..I was one of the first members on the board with the nokia 6230b US band GSM/Color... I have alot of memories... ironically I'm behind the curve and have a beat up old blackberry bold 9000! most of the members dont even remember black * white phones! I may have to dig up my special rose gold ericsson T39... with the antennae the size of my thumb

wow come to think of it i cant believe it i've been here for nearly 7 yrs too, im 22. I've been on hofo for about 1/3 of my life!!!!

I started with a Vtech a700



and with the help of ppl on hofo i bought an INFRARED dongle and i had the coolest ringtones/pics at my highschool on this puppy:

i second that, just not in that of a harsh tone LOL.

i used to surf hofo all day everyday. loved posting and reading threads but for some reason my passion for hofo began to wane. its like childhood cartoons, when you watched them when u were little they were the most amazing shows in the world, the plot, the characters, everything was so perfect. but now, if you go back and watch them again, your left with that "wtf was i watching" face or at least the face of being disappointed it doesn't hold the same magic it did when you were little.

i duno. maybe its just me growing up but hofo doesnt seem the same anymore. i even have days we would have the OG layout and designs back but thats just me being nostalgic.

Started at the age of 15 and now im a little older than 20. it was fun but i dont see myself being on hofo as much as the months go by.

depresses me a bit.

Yep! I'm still very interested in traffic systems as well as general urban planning. In fact I'm trying to get into some Masters Planning programs and hopefully work with the city of Hamilton (my howntown) in the planning department!
