Hey guys,
When i open APPS2SD, it appears there is only about 220MB of internal storage available?
Any ideas as to where the rest of my space ran off to?
How big is your swap file?
Along these same lines, Apps2SD says I have 196.25MB of internaal memory, 23MB of which is currently available. Below 20MB, and I get the low storage error msg.
Are there any known memory hogging apps/browser cache/temp file, etc that I should be aware of? Also - how does that user above have 220MB total, and me only 196MB? :/

If you root and install a Custom ROM like Cyanogenmod 7, you can use a SIMPLE/free app called 'S2E' (on the Market), which allows you to partition your SD card and use a portion of it (such as 1-2GB partition) as /sd-ext. This allows you to force install all apps to 'internal', and the 'S2E' app will redirect all data to the /sd-ext partition.... so your internal storage is effectively not used... and you effectively have 1.2GB (1GB sd-ext and 200MB of real internal) storage.
I use a 1GB /sd-ext, and I have a ton of apps installed. I still have ~500MB free.... and I install anything/everything I want....
