I just installed my SimpleMobile SIM on my new Samsung Vibrant. It was previously working fine with EDGE on an unlocked iPhone 3GS. I bought this phone to have 3g but it is extremely unreliable, it doesn't work most of the time. I tried the APN settings with and without proxy, same story. Speedtest can't connect most of the time, the signal strength varies a lot (0 bars or 4 in the same place). Right now -105 dBm 6 asu. Sometimes I get good speeds and sometimes nothing.

My phone runs eclair.uvji6, kernel 2.6.29, firmware 2.1-update1 and I'm in San Francisco. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
