ovi suite tethering and internet connection sharing in win7

I have a nokia nuron, I use ovi suite to tether on windows 7. I also want to share my connection to other users on my network. So I go to the sharing tab and tell it to share the connection. It tells me the changes won't take place until the next time I dial the connection.

So I disconnect and then reconnect, and the settings are gone! I realized each time I connect to the internet, the connection gets a new name. Right now it is "Nokia USB Modem (Nokia Ovi Suite) 14" , before it was Nokia USB Modem (Nokia Ovi Suite) 13. The numbering changes! So that's why windows doesn't remember the sharing settings I think. How can I fix this?

Or is there some other problem with my internet sharing?

There is a new ovi suite beta 3 available from nokia beta labs, try that instead if you can.

Also give nokia pc suite instead, I know I have been able to share via that before but I just shared my phone's data connection with my laptop. Wouldn't you use joku for sharing with others?
