4G, HSPA+ notification

Just got the G2 on the cyber monday deal, awsome!! I see the Hv^ sign on the phone for HSPA but how do you know if its HSPA+ ? Is there another way to tell?

you wont be able to tell from the icon. on the stock rom, the g2 displays UMTS (3g) HSPA and HSPA+ as a H. Look in the market for signal strength indicators
