Hey missmandee, go here: https://www.att.com/mobilityorderstatus
I think you were using the AT&T order status checker and your real order is through a different service.
I found out what the new numbers mean for your migration group. For example, say your new migration group is 4AP1. That means that you are in group 4A for the shipping of the phones and that you ordered 1 phone.
So if you are 4CP3 you are in group 4C and you ordered 3 phones, so on and so forth.
Are you sure that's right? Because I ordered 4 phones and my new migration group is 4EP2
Yeah mine has changed as well. I was in 4C and now it says 4CPX. Any ideas clay?
Huh. My bad. They were talking about the "new" groups over at another forum and that was the general consensus. Must have been just a huge coincidence!
Wow that's really weird. Keep trying and if by the end of the day it still doesn't display your order it might be worth a call to AT&T.
Been lurking for awhile.
I'm from MN and was in migration group 4A, now 4AP1. Purely speculation on my part with no basis to back it up, but could the P number be referring to a phase of transition. Such as in group 4A, P1 will transition over before P2 and so on?

4AP3 now, was 4A before.
The plot thickens.
My group changed from 4D to 4DP3 on my order status. I ordered 2 phones. Dickinson, ND is the shipping address.
This confusion can easily be avoided if you pronounce the word intended aloud. If it has a voiced Z sound, then it’s “lose.” If it has a hissy S sound, then it’s “loose.” Here are examples of correct usage: “He tends to lose his keys.” “She lets her dog run loose.”
Loose
not rigidly fastened or securely attached
Lose
to miss from one's possession or from a customary or supposed place
Also, just because a word has an "s" at the end, doesn't mean it needs an apostrophe.
I was an alltel customer for years. Now am a loyal Verizon customer as of two days ago and based solely on the botching of this merger.
1. Give me a crappy phone choice for free.... change the choice "for free" but require I stay with you and enter a contract, that's really not a choice in my view.
2. Send me a device that won't work for 2+months after I get it...... I wonder if ATT staff bought a car and we didn't let them drive it for 2 months after paying for it if that would fly, yet, for out phones this is acceptable practice? Why would anyone month-month on alltel stay with this crappy transition and service...... we didn't and now Verizon is getting our 2400 a year in Wireless fees and 400 more in phone fees....... We didn't have intentions of leaving until ATT sent us devices, which we paid for, that won't work for months, that's a JOKE......
3. Communication has been horrid. I got my text message about my "new device shipping" three days after I had it...... and I received no email to the same. Interestingly the e-mail from ATT saying they had billed my credit card came through loud and clear to my e-mail. HMMMM
end of the day screw you ATT/ALLTEL whatever you are now..... I have my IPHONE three months early and I'm paying damn near the same with Verizon
