W385 Will not boot, flashes from logo to white screen, or bootloader usb init screen
In the middle of a conversation on a dying battery, I tried to end a call. I repeatedly pushed the end call/power button and all it would do was flash off, then back on. I pulled the battery and waited to get home to recharge.
Now, all it does it flash from the M logo sign to a white screen repeatedly, unless I hit the * and # keus simultaneously, then I get a M logo on a blue tiled screen that says at the bottom of the screen "bootloader usd init" If I hit the power button then, I get a quick flash of a statement that says power reset button.
Boost says they cannot fix. Motorola wants me to pay to fix. Can I fix this myself? I do not have a connecting cable to my pc. Should I ioen the phone and if this is a stuck key problem? I have tried all the troubleshooting tips on Motorola's site.
What reasoning did Boost give? If it's their phone, they should be able to reflash the firmware. Either way, for some reason, your firmware become corrupt, giving you bootloader as the only option.
It's an easy fix, if you have the Boost Mobile software.
